History
The Jack-up (built in 1980 at Bethlehem Steel Corp – USA) was acquired by Fred. Olsen Production in 1995 and converted to a MOPU at the Aker Omega yard (US). Her first assignment was for Mobil Nigeria on the Isobo A and was working for the same client, interrupted by other assignments in Nigeria only, until summer 2002. After a further conversion she was installed on the Antan Field in the summer of 2004.
Addax Petroleum became the owner of Borgen Dolphin in September '06 when it exercised a purchase option. Borgen Dolphin was then renamed Marc Lorenceau.
The jack-up is operated by Fred.Olsen Production West Africa Ltd.
